Sounds like a misfire or starving for fuel.
How would i know if my check engine light isn't on? Everybody seems to be giving me the run around... telling me its a shot in the dark i gotta take
don't really understand your question?
How can i find out exactly what the problem is with my car without the check engine light being on? One mechanic told me to start with changing my transmission oil and filter...
Can i still get a diagnostics text without check engine light on?
Do you feel it's more a transmission jerk and not engine?
To be honest i really don't know . But from all the jerking it broke my front mount and i got that replaced...
The check engine light will only come on when the PCM see's the same fault from the same sensor twice. You can sill have a running issue with no light. And yes a good technician should be able to diagnose the issue if it can be duplicated.
From what your telling me,it sure sounds like your vehicle must run terrible, and your saying no one can diagnose it? Is that correct?
It runs really good ... it just jerks only/ everytime i pull off from a stop.. and mechanics keep saying we can start with transmission oil first. But their not tellinv me exactly what it is ... and they drove my car...
Mostly pulling... so when i start up my car it runs fine. Then when i cpme to a stop and i try to pull off my car pulls and then jerks when it catches gear if i saying that right
Mostly pulling... so when i start up my car it runs fine. Then when i cpme to a stop and i try to pull off my car pulls and then jerks when it catches gear if i saying that right ... last week as I drove it home my car slowed down on its own while i had my foot on THE gas
OK thanks for the better description,Yes, it differently sounds like a transmission issue,Yes, start with a filter and fluid change that is the cheapest, but don't be upset if it is a internal failure of the transmission. Good luck. Chuck.
