95 to 98 Buick park Avenue 3800

Asked by Preacher141 Sep 27, 2019 at 12:00 PM about the 1995 Buick Park Avenue FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Just wondering if a 95 Park Ave Series 2 will swap into a 98
Park Ave.  98 has a blown motor, 95 is junk with a new
motor.  I have done swaps before.  Time is not a problem.
What would it take is the question.

This will work, just need to swap some of the parts like the PCV valve housing and heater tubes on water pump. May be a few more parts but not many. And before you waste 2 days like me, the engine and transaxle has to come out the bottom of the car. The 95 will still come out the top if you unbolt engine from trans including the hidden bolt on the bellhousing behind back side of engine towards driver side.
