Question type: General

What is the average running temperature of 1999 Buick Park Avenue with 107k miles?

Now when I drive this car for about 1 hour, the gauge is a little higher than the middle of normal temperature. Is it ok? I just changed engine oil yesterday.

I had the same problem with my 98 Ultra. I changed thermostat - didn't help, changed radiator - same thing, cleaned the system and again the same thing. Keep in mind that all the parts were from the dealer, no cheap shit. After so much of time and money spent I left it like it was and the needle never went past the "a little higher than the middle". P.S. Also both fans were checked for failures - were OK. It had 120K/mi.

If you have a Driver Information Center, you can check the actual temperature. Anything from 200 to 220 degrees is fine.
