I have a 1998 buick regal everytime I press on the gas It makes this whining noise wat is that?

I agree with regal, belts and pulleys tend to squeal and bearings tend to grind, I'm not saying they don't whine, just saying its not as common as a P/S pump.

I didn't even see what you had written before and yes that supercharger whine will make the little dogs and their civics get back on the porch.

Remember when ford tried supercharging their Thunderbird 3800 and it barely made as much HP as GM's N/A 3800. GM is where the performance is. I would like to get my hands on a late 80s GNX, or a late 60s grand sport with the 455, stage 1, turn on the AC and smoke tires through second gear.
