Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a 92 chevy blazer and recently had to replace the u joint at the rear
and the transfer case rear extension and the problem was the 4 tabs that
you put the bolts through to bolt into the t case snapped off i just took it out
for a test run and the same thing happened again the 4 tabs broke any
idea as to why ?

Is your truck lifted? Lifted trucks tend to have problems with U-joints because the drive shaft angles end up being too steep and it puts too much stress on the U-joints.
