Check your plugs, and wires,if they are good may need to check coil and fuel injector,s.

The optispark distributer will cause those issues as well. I have had the same thing on all 3 roadmaster wagons I own. Once The plugs wires and coil was checked I looked into the distributor. If you do go that route buy the complete unit not just the cap and rotor. The water pump has to come off for this job and if you are going that far it makes more sense to replace the entire unit. most of the time you will find oil and other junk in there and it would be sickening to do all that work for just a cap and rotor (you will need some special tools to remove that cap) to find the opti spark has failed.

Alot of time it may be caused by an Altinator going out. Or weak battery. But often it may be just your Battery cable Ground or the positive cable from battery to Altinator. Check this first before you change the 500$ optispark module.
