I have 1992 camaro with 3.1 and 5 speed, can I use a 305 engine from a 91
z28 that had an automatic?

You should be able to , 3.1 ? Is that a 6 ? a stronger motor will tear up the weaker drive train though and other things may not match . How much $$ do you have ?

right, you'll want to swap the ECM, exhaust, brakes and other bits from the donor car.
