car wont start

car will turn over but wont start at times it tries
I replaced the dist cap and rotor but still wont run
wad wondering about plugs

When was the last time you changed the plug wires? Old wires and cold moist weather are not a good combination. Plug wires have a carbon/graphite core, If your car starts nicely when the weather is warm but have problems when it's rainy or snowing outside, check the wires....

I've had luck (at times) spraying WD 40 on the wires to try to displace the moisture on the wires enough to get the car to start.
