Are you sure the new alternator is changing at 14 volts ? Is your battery light coming on ?

How do you know you are loosing battery power? As "firebird383" said, are you getting a battery discharge indication (guage reading below 13 volts in your car)? Is it discharged after you run the car or after the car sits, say, overnight? Provide a little more info and we might be able to narrow it down for you.
