I can’t understand why our 2007 Toyota Tundra was
running just fine we pulled up to a stop light and it died . It
acts like it wants to start but don’t . And the only light that
is flashing is 4 Lo . Any idea what this could be ?

I have been having the same problem with my 07. I have replaced the fuel pump, the ECM, repaired wiring to the aftermarket radio/headlights/fog lights and still won’t start, lights 4LO/VSC/no check engine light. Getting ready to to take to the dealer. Did you ever figure out what caused your problem?

If you disconnected battery then read steps in the book to a T. If you didn’t and just died, were you low on gas? Fuel mixture sensor locacated in the intake were air filter is located. Just clean off sensor and put half a tank of fresh gas. I’ve gotten water at the pump before filling up and had to drain tank in the parking lot and catch a ride to get different gas. All would make the 07 die. Also. Not wearing a seatbelt has made it die on me.
Hello. My 2011 Tundra just started this. It stalls and won’t start and the 4lo light is flashing. Have you figured anything out what the problem was? Please and thank you!
My 2012 5.7 4x4 is doing the very same thing. 4l light starts flashing and engine dies. This only happens once in a while but when it does I slap the engine bay fuse box and it will usually start but sometimes I have to disconnect the batt. And it will start.
Did anyone ever find the issue?? I am having the same problem.
