I have a 1999 3500 with the 5.7, changed the ignition module, cap, rotor, fuel pump, and coil and it still won't start. Is there anything else that could be preventing it from getting spark?

Did you check that current reaches the coil when key is in the run and crank positions? Maybe your ignition switch went bad.

I did. heres what happened...I use the truck to pull a 2-car trailer, and I always shut it off when loading/unloading cars. When I got back into the truck to start it, fuel pump didn't actuate. tried 'helping' it with starting fluid, and it started, but wouldn't stay running. Towed it back to my shop, and replaced the fuel pump, figuring it was bad. (fuel gauge also started acting funny to help with that diagnosis). When it didn't start, checked to make sure it was getting power to the ignition module, and it was. Then pulled the #1 spark plug to see if it was getting spark...and nothing. Then started replacing parts from there....
