99 TAHOE WITH VORTEC

HELP PLEASE... 99 TAHOE 5.7 VORTEC, DID A "TUNEUP" PLUGS,
WIRES, CAP AND ROTOR. GOT ON HIGHWAY AND GOT TO SPEED
AND ENGINE LIGHTS FLASHING AND ENGINE STARTED MISSING, RAN
ENGINE DECODE COMING UP WITH PRIMARY #4 MISS, THEN
MULTIPLE ENGINE MISFIRES. ENGINE BARELY RUNS NOT FUEL
PROBLEM. ANY IDEAS NEED HELP. NOT THROWING ANY OTHER
CODES..

have you checked to see if the firing order is correct?also check to see if the rotoror the cap has a crack.

multiple times, it was running perfect in till i stepped in to the pedal she shifted down took off about 1/4 tp 1/2 mile flashing engine lights and lost power and meaning stepped into was enough to get away from the snarl of traffic and wasnt too hard on it and started sputtering and wanting to die. thought it might be the theft system that is kinda quirky reset it and still same issue..

In the center of the cap there is a little ball on the bottom side. Make Sure you are getting a solid connection between that and the thin pice of metal on the rotor button
