Hi, sorry I know it was a while ago, but I'd like to add to the question. How can I tell whether the blower motor resistor is bad or it's the relay that's bad?? I have a 2003 Mercedes c230K and the battery keeps draining off while the ignition and everyth is shut off. Finally, found that there was a parasitic draw of excess current which stops when disconnecting the blower motor. So, now I must know which one of these two (resistor or relay) is the bad one.

Thanks...... could you please tell me how I can test the relay?
