Check for loose or dirty battery connections. Also check the negative battery connections on the frame and motor.
those year models have a security that you have to reset some times they do it randomaly but tirn the ignition on do not start and watch the security light for 10 min and it will blink turn ignition off for 30 seconds and repeat 2 more time then try to start it
New starter new alternator new distributor cap spark plugs and wires changed truck still will not start
