I have a 1998 chevy 1500 with the 4.3 v-6 vortec. The problem I'm having is that when the truck sits for a long period it does not start back. Can anyone help me??

If I put gas into the throttle body it starts
and runs fine. I can stop it start it etc etc.
But if it sits for longer than 6 hours or so I
have to put more gas into the throttle body.
Also when I floor the gas it's like it is
starving for fuel. I put the pressure gauge
on it and I have 60psi all the time. Can
anyone help me please.

Fuel filter may be restricted, also sounds like the fuel pump isn't holding it's prime. also inspect fuel lines for weeping

I need help bad. My truck us a Chevy 1500 1995 and if I drive about 30 miles or so and hit a red light and go to hit the gas. I'll have the peddle to the floor and it will start off slow then out of no where kick in and speed up.
