Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi guys i have a 1997 Chevy k1500 and transmission shifts fine untill i use 4x4 then it will
not shift properly, put it back in 2wd shifts fine. changed throttle positioning sensor,
speed sensor. dont know where else to go. also it will not always lock the front differential
( thinking actuator for that) but it seems if its in 4x4 and the front diff isn't locked it
doesn't shift right if 4x4 if locked in solid it shifts fine. please give me something to look
at i don't think the actuator is causing all this. im guessing whatever is causing the 4x4
not to lock in, is also probably responsible for the miss-shifting. but what would cause all
this. ALSO:
Manual Shift T-Case (floor)
Electronic Actuator

sometimes 4x4 locks right away, sometimes you have to wait 5-10 mins, sometimes it will not go in at all. no matter how many times i shift t-case in and out of 4x4

is there another speed sensor on the front axle or just one on the tail of the t-case
