No not thinking so, The trany from the '97 is run by a OBDII computer, the trany from the '93 is run by a OBD1 computer, plus there is a redesign between those years.

X2 on the no it won't work. You need one from a 96 or 97.

It will fit just like the 93 but it will not shift out of 2nd gear at all

It will fit but it will never come out of 2nd gear because the servos and clutches are different and it also has a different computer program because of the internal hardware

No, if the suburban is 4x4 or may bolt up but electronics are different. Long story short it would cost more to make it work in the blazer than it would just to rebuild the 92 trains in the first place.

The 97 torque converter is dimensionally different. It is taller than the 93. This will cause clearance issues from the converter to the flex plate. You can't just swap the converters over either because the input shaft of the transmission is different as well. Also has electrical differences: 3-2 control solenoid and TCC/PWM solenoid are going to be different. Just build the 93, it will be cheaper than trying to swap it over and less headache

I have a question, can a 5.7 motor hook up to a 4x4 tranny in a s10? I know I will need to change motor mounts and wiring and all that goody goody cause I've seen where a few people have put a 5.7 in a s10 but they always did it with 2wds but I wanna do it on a 4wd, well more like change my 2wd to a 4wd then 5.7 swap it, but wanting to know if it could mount up to the transmission first or if I would have to get a different tranny too.
