1995 Chevy c/k 1500 5.7L will no longer starting without starting fluid

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

- checked fuel pump relay, not able to hear pump running
- jumped at relay box from 87 to 30 and still not hearing the fuel pump
- unable to locate a fuse related to fuel pump
- getting code 54 when jump obd
- pickup in hard spot to get to, to drop the tank

Make sure you double check that fuel pump. As well it could be a carburetor problem if it still has one of them on there. You may ether have to adjust the carb or clean it. Also as well possibly it is bad gas you may have gotten from a gas station. Put some sea foam in the gas tank to assist it and some high octane gas.
