1994 Chevy k1500 5.7L bogging down after sitting for 30-60 min.
Truck starts and runs fine in the morning, but after letting it sit for 30 min. to
an hour it bogs down when started before taking off like a rocket. If I let off
the gas while it's bogging down, the rpm's fluctuate and sometimes the
truck dies. In addition, driving after this happens while going uphill, the
rpm's drop off every now and then. Hard to reproduce at mechanic's, but a
major problem as my job requires me to stop and start my truck multiple
times a day.
Have rebuilt transmission, have new GM crate engine, throttle body rebuilt
with AC Delco injectors, new MAP, new IAC, new complete distributor
setup, new ECM, EGR module, new fuel pump, new fuel filters. Mechanic is
stumped...not sure where to turn. Suggestions/advice appreciated.
