93 c1500 shifting problem

Ive got a 93 Chevy c1500, 4x4, regular cab,
auto tranny, with a 5.7. This problem started
all at once. It will shift from 1 to 2 and then
shift into drive but it will only stay in drive
for a couple seconds before reving up like
it's in neutral. It doesn't slip or hesitate to
shift at all. Just kicks out of drive after a
couple seconds. When I slow down it will
shift back to 2nd and take right off until it
shifts to drive and then repeats the same
thing. I've already changed to 2nd-3rd gear
solenoid and transmission filter but it didn't
help the problem any. Any help will be
greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks guy's

Ur transmission gears have went out for 3rd pull it down into 2nd and drive it up to the rev limit till u can get a new or ur transmission rebuilt the trans they put in them trucks are terrible and the gears go out easy

3-4 clutches are smoked, it is actually slipping when it revs. Time for a rebuild.
