Light switch exchange

I have a 1992 Chevy Silverado C1500 my light
switch is Gray in color. The 1990 Chevy C1500 light
switches are black in Color. Wanting to know if the
1990 Switches will work in my 1992 Chevy C1500 ?
I'm just wanting to change the colors of the
switches to match the color of my Dash I painted
black. Changing the color scheme of my interior in
my truck. Thank you in advance !!

Are the plug connectors the same? Is the switch it self of the same configuration? If so put it in if not it ain’t gona work!
