I'd start with the main cables from the battery and the goofy auxilliary loop connection probably from the alternator...that one is important...nice n' clean and shiny....on the Negative terminal there is a cable running to the block...assure that connection will pull the 50 amps needed for starting~ make sure all is Clean connections~...then we can look at the connectors and trace signals~
ok thanks ill try that if tht dont work u got any other ideas wat it could be?
won't kickdown, you say? thinking about your vacuum lines now~ make sure they are all connected and none of them leak~ that's l got~ coming back again off of 2 years away...really do not know the answers to all cars, like I should ...take a look at the lines...think one of them is your "vacuum modulator" but really not sure on your truck...but is worth a look if you see something down there disconnected~
