A friend of mine has a C5 and has been having a problem. When he turns the A/C on, the passenger side blows cold air and the driver side is still hot air. Are these vents vacuum operated or are they

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When you turn on the A/C on a friend's C5, the drivers side vent blows hot air and the passenger side blows cold.  Are the vents vacuum operated or gear/motor driven??  Has anyone out there experienced and repaired this problem??

I own a 1999 C5 Corvette and I am having the same problem. When I turn on the heat or air it blows warm or cold on the passenger side but not the drivers side. I haven't taken it anywhere yet to see what the issue is and once I find out I'll post it.
