My seat moves when I hit the brakes in my 1998 Vet. How can I fix that?

First find out if the seat mounting bolts are loose or if the seat adjustment mechanism is worn and no latching properly.

Bolts are tight. The power seat works fine, but I do not know how it is supposed to latch after it is moved.

Worn gear that moves seat back and forth has play. You can YouTube a simple fix instead of replacing components. You can take apart where worm gear attached to seat and put a couple of washers to take out slack
