Do you mean Traction Control light is on? If it's that, plus the ABS light, you may have a sensor out of place on one of your wheels, or a cut wire. Assume VCS stands for Vehicle Control System? Don't let that mechanic work on it unless he warranties his work. He's out to sell you a computer.
