2007 Toyota Camry difficulty starting on occasion.
Car runs great, not missing or misfiring. Has trouble about every other time
starting. Determined it is a fuel delivery problem by using starting fluid. Engine
will crank and crank but wont start. I can wait ten minutes, come back and it
will start. Someone suggested it might be the crank sensor (getting wet by
water from engine?). I was thinking if it might be the fuel pump, but then I
would be having trouble on the road. Not the case. So far it runs perfect. Fuel
filter? I would think this would also cause problems when on the road. The
problem is intermittent, so the dealer doesn't know what to do. Is something
sending a signal to the fuel pump not to run on startup, but once it starts, then
everything is fine?
