How do I reset the "Service Reqiured" light/indicator?

You may need to have the dealership run a diagnostic scan on it to see if something is wrong. If it is merely an oil-change light, they can also tell you how to reset that yourself in the future. I believe Service Required is similar to the Check Engine light which is more involved.

If the service required light is an amber light(yellow) and it remains on after you start vehicle , it means , your computer has set a trouble code and the vehicle needs servicing . Sometimes the code can set if you , or the gas attendant , leaves the gas cap on loose/ off . The computer is very picky about emissions leaks , and it will turn on the light of you leave the gas cap off , or loose . ( this usually happens very soon after you fill up the car with gas ) If cap is on tight , you should proceed to a repair shop for diagnosis of problem.
