the controls for the moonroof have an open and  toggle switch and 3 buttons marked 1-2-3 i cannot find anything in the manual that shows what these buttons are for?

normally you can program certain positions for the moonroof to open to. For example if you press number one you can have it open half way.

These buttons can be programmed to operate HomeLink compatible devices, such as a garage door opener or a driveway gate. Check your owner's manual index for Garage Door Opener.
