1991 Camaro Z28 rpm problems

Wont shift out of first gear until rpms reach 7000, barely accelerates

if its not burned up..change the fluid and filter...could be a stuck valve body..

Please, stop revving it to 7000, your gonna blow the motor. Take it to a trans shop
