viper is a good alarm system but can i make a suggestion? get a compustar alarm system instead. the adds on you can put on it are absolutely amazing. it blows the viper out of the water. just check it out before making a decision. some goodies for example that i had on my lincoln navigator were was a tilt sensor to prevent wheel theft, proximity sensor so anybody within 6 inches of my car gave them a warning to back off, the remote beeps and vibrates when the car alarm is warning people or actually going off, auto start, and the remote works for up to one mile from your car. you can also set a timer for your car to run in the summer so it cools your car down to a certain degree inside and then the car shuts off to save gas or heat it in the winter. the unlock door feature also works for up to a mile away. it has so much more to offer than viper.
