Our T&C has a bad miss that almost stalls the engine especially at take off.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Diagonistics indicated misfire on cylinders 2 & 6 so I replaced the plugs and wires. This did not help and actually the missing got worse. Now the only code I get is PO300, Random Misfire. The miss is noticable at all speeds except when I floor it. Worse at low speed. If it were an old car I would think it was the timing. Thanks in advance for any help or thoughts!

sounds as if the buterflys in the intake side are either worn or pitted that or one of your sensors are telling your ecu the wrong info, check the air flow and the lambada sensor as these could be acting up first then clean the buterflys in the intake side with a good solvent and then re assemble see if that helps
Oh! I forgot to mention I took the air valve thing off and cleaned it.
the air flow sensor is diferent to the air valve one is for emissions the other regulates the air fuel mix
Where can I find those butterflys?
normaly on the throttle body just befor the intake manifold
Got it! Thanks! I will look them over and clean them. Then if needed I will move on to the O2 sensor.
not a problem would recomend that you buy a haynes manual for the vehicle as they do a complete strip down and rebuild of every vehicle they do a manual for and there is a lot of information and photos in every one
Try replacing the coil pack.
