Question type: Maintenance & Repair

fixing this problem often times turns into a money pit because of so many
possible causes. There must be a way to override the limp mode and get the
trans to shift into all gears. a 2001 van is worth so little that it is not worth a total
fix.

I took it to a independent shop and spent $700.00 and lasted two days. They have had it for four weeks now trying to figure it out. They wont give me my money back. Never buy a chrysler.
