How to locate rear tail light wiring color code ?

Pull a tail light and see what colors they used.

Appreciate that. Started there. But I have a 3500 cutaway with stahl box and the wiring colors change at chasis connection. Book says Brown wire should be tail cargo running lights. Don't have power at factory side of connection. Fuses are good. Trying to locate first connection from back to front.
