1991 Chevy cavaler rs

Hi i have a 1991 chevy cavalier manual transmission i took it in to get a clutch
replacement the mechanic said he replaced the slave cylinder and the clutch it
self and they bleed the system many times. He is saying the curved piece on
the transmission  the thing that the slave cylinder pushes to in gauge the
clutch. I just need some help and advice about why when its not turned on it
goes through all the gears but when i turn it on it just wont go into gear....
plsssssss help me... missing driving this little car. The picture is the thing that
wont move all the way... the clutch is very soft.

Sounds like he didn't properly install the thro out bearing.
