Any oil other than the expensive ZF trans oil?

Can't afford ZF but don't want to ruin transmission. Heard Mercon S/P or LV might work
or some type of Castrol or Pentasosin.

If you can't afford it, then you sure can't afford a new tranny- get rid of that car- if your bank account isn't empty it soon will be-

Right! You want to own a Jag but you can't afford repairs? trade down.
