Hi I have a xtype 3.0 petrol 52"REG". It failed to start, the RAC said engine turning over,
problem is with the starter motor (batt brand new). Changed starter motor, but still will not
start. power to starter ok, power coming from ignition ok, tested new starter and old one,
both ok. What could be the fault??????

Anti theft system or th neutral cut off switch. Try starting it in the neutral position.
After a bit of tinkering myself, discovered it was a poor connection on the earth wire coming from the engine to the battery. The car starts, but some times it feels like the engine is not running properly. When I turn it off and start it again it's fine???
Could the engine some times start without one of the plugs ??
Could it be the fuel injector wiring loom??
