04 Jaguar X-Type AWD 3.0, - 18" tire/rim option

I'm looking to buy rims/tires for  my 04 Jaguar X-Type AWD 3.0 and would like to go to the 18" option.  
I found a nice set of 18 inch Jaguar stock wheels w/ Pirelli Tires (235/50R18)off a 2005 Jaguar XJ8, I'm told they will fit my X-Type model.
Can you confirm these rims/tires will work for me?

While an 18" wheel will fit on the car, the XJ8 wheel will not. It is a different bolt pattern. If you want stock wheels, look at the Jaguar "Proteus" wheel. It's the nicest set available for the X-Type.
