The hydraulic fluid in ny 2000 Jaguar XK8 has gelled and the convertible top will not go all the way down. How do I remove that so that I can put in new hydraulic fluid?
The mechanic startd chaning the hose and was preparing to add fresh hudraulic fluid when it was discover4d that some of the fluid had gelled. What can be done.
In repairing my convertibe top, it had been repaired twice at the jaquar dealershiop making this the third time, it was discovered that the dealership used a repair kit and spliced the hose instead of changing the entire hose. The leak, of course, is where the hose is spliced. Is there anything that can be done about that? Should I contact jaguar hedquarters?
