Raise rear quaterlight windows

Hood had to be raised manually per Jaguar manual instructions, but it does not tell you how to raise side rear quarterlights

Once roof is in raised position continue to hold down the 'up' portion of the button that operates the top.

And if your question is regarding when the top is retracted, the rear quarter windows won't roll up.

Did no one read the question; he had to raise the softtop manually which meant he had to release the pressure but once he raised roof rear quarter glass windows no longer go up.... How do you raise rear quarter windows 'AFTER ' manually raising softop? And no pressing buttin does not work after a manual raise

2002 xk8 just raised the top manually. locked down securely quarter windows will not respond engine running fine 75 mile ride with top down. Pulled into garage engine stalled will not restart. battery spins engine fine top would not go up. so now cant raise windows and engine wont start, could this be related? long distance to a Jag dealership. Limited knowledge on this end. Any help appreciated
