2004 Timing Chain Risks & Replacement Cost

About to purchase 2004 XK8, mileage 63-64000. Concerned about timing
chain and tensioner risks of failure, recommended replacement mileage and
costs to fully replace. No current problems on well-maintained car.

5hrs time parts labor total $1000 or +/- 10%. The '04s aren't to bad, do it before it's a problem @ (probably beyond the 70,000), or if it becomes Audible! Regards
Thanks so much for your help and prompt response! I'll definitely take this into account. I bought the farm on this issue in a 98 XJ at about 68,000. I also much appreciate any other opinions on the matter. Best
`04 has metal guides and tensioners. It does NOT have the problem.
