Question type: General
I bought a 1990 rs convertible from the original owner with all paper work from the day it was bought, I was
wondering how many we're produced with leather interior? Also was wondering the steering column moves up and
down how do you fix ?

As far as I'm concerned there is less then half of the 729 reported , these 3rd gen Camaro's have been trashed and slashed . Our 1990 is RARE as they come they make reproductions of the 60's but not of these and the steering column fix you told me was incorrect the link to did not fix it . It was the bearings in the steering column not the screws . Thanks for the info our convertible is original and one of a kind black with grey leather with original paper work from the dealer . I know we will keep this car for ever .
I heard that there were only 589 sold out of the 700 plus that were built. I also heard that if the car has on the rear bumper SLP and has leather seats it is a "RARE" and COLLECTABLE" vehicle.
I also have a 1990 RS convertible with grey leather interior but white paint. I love it!
It's "Rare" enough that NADA has it's value starting at about $3,000.
Lot's of "Rare" vehicles out there, Pintos, Edsels, Vegas, Omnis, Yugos..... "Rare" and "Collectible" are 2 different things. Most of the time, our cars are worth more to us than they are to others.
