Most times the car will start, I drive to a store, and then when I come out it will not start - i wait about 20 minutes and sometimes it starts and sometimes it does not. Also, sometimes when it starts after setting this time, then when I drive home, it will turn off while driving. i hear a clicking sound. Help.

These were known for bad crankshaft position sensors - Dont know about the clicking sound though
VATS.Passkey 1, 2, 3. Criminal that GM used this system for so many years. It has disabled many otherwise solid vehicles. Just google "VATS, PASSkey bypass"
I have a similar problem with my 1994 olds 88. It does not die once started though. Might that sensor also be the reason my check engine light comes on from time to time?

im also having the same prb can anyone give me a solution?
If the security light flashing on instrument panel, look for the VATS bypass fix. If your check engine light came on, whether it stayed on or not, have it scanned. Whatever the code,Thats prob the root cause.
I was having this problem and changed my crankshaft position sensor and now no issues.
Crank sensor is crap from Mexico get a new one you will be fine!
