how do i disable or completely remove the vats system or passkey 2 on my 1995 olds 98 without the key?

my keys were lost to my car and my husband tried to just bust out the ignition
and start it with a screwdriver he didnt realize the chip in the key would not
allow him to do that. i dont have the money to get a new steering column or
ignition and key. so how do i disable the vats system without the key so i can
start my car ?

Your screwed until you can get it to the dealer.

The "chip" in a VATs key is a resistor, the lock cylinder looks for a specific resistance from that key. You can buy a new VATs ignition lock cylinder mated to new keys.
