I'm having trouble getting my manual transmission saab into reverse.  My 1999 saab barely has 100,000 miles.  It's
been a headache.  This problem seems major to me.  Any advice?  Thanks.

Could you be more precise with the problem? What is wrong with the transmission? How does it behave?

Sounds like shift linkage might be worn or out of place. Internal or external.. Hopefully external, cuz if it's internal you'll have to take the gearbox apart.
