Saab 2003 93 se misfire

Asked by corvis255 Apr 20, 2014 at 11:08 PM about the 2003 Saab 9-3 SE Convertible

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Started a few weeks ago as a misfire when
the engine was cold and operating at low
rpms in any gear (1.5k-2.3k rpms).
Intermittent misfire would come and go at
random intervals. Then the Saab check
engine light came on and it showed to be
an emissions leak. That light would also
come and go daily. Sometimes it would
come on, sometimes it wouldn't. Now my
fuel mileage suddenly dropped from around
26 to 11.
