Question type: Car Customization
ok so i have a 2003 saab 9-3 linear 2.0t the radio didnt work when i got the car no sound
at all was told it was amp1 i replaced it still doesnt work i press all the buttons but nothing
all i get is no onstar service warning in display cd player seems to work but again no
sound or any track info in display. checked all fuses they are good, do you think it might
be just the radio? or should i get another amp?
or getting a new system would be better option? if so then all the speakers need to be
aftermarket including the radio? im guessing this all have to be re-wired right?

well heres my own answer i had a new aftermarket kenwood KDC- BT362U cd/bluetooth radio with microphone i didnt wanna get the steering wheels control adapter but as of now 3 weeks after having the new radio do want to get the controls. anyways i replaced the rear speakers with alpine 6x9 type sps-619 kept the factory doors and dash speakers they sound great all 7 speakers now i though i was gonna need a subwoofer but after modifying the radio i was like omg why didnt i do all this before? lol well yeah i did went to some shops 3 shops wanted to charge me $1500! best buy said "oh its impossible to put a new radio on it" i was about to give up until i went to the last shop they said we can do it for half the price thank god, ok now i myself got rid of the factory radio and designed the dash to mount my tablet took a lot of work but that was almost pro but in the end all was good!
