Getting remove luggage carrier to operate soft top error

Help! Getting remove luggage carrier error message when
trying to take top down on my Saab.  There is nothing in
the trunk, and my hydraulic fluid is fine.

Be sure that the clips are not hooked ( the ones that give you more trunk space ) so there is room for the roof to fit in the boot (trunk).
