9-5s are still being built; however, Saab/GM has given up on advertising them and giving them updates and new features until the brand new 9-5 comes around in 2010ish. The 3.0t has been dropped, btw, in favor of the 2.3 HOT. The 9-5 design dates back to ~1998, and has only received minor updates in 2002 and 2006. They haven't even hinted at anything about the upcoming new 9-5, so lets keep our fingers crossed that it turns out good! It really seems like they've forgotten about the 9-5 completely!

Have you noticed that the new Saabs have the GM interior? Is it just me, or are there other people who feel as though that diminishes the feel that the Saabs once had? I am a little disappointed. Now everytime I bring my 02 Saab 9-5 in for service and the dealer gives me a brand new one to drive, I can't wait to get my car back. Am I the only one that feels this way?
