Looking at purchasing a 2006 G35x, only hesitation is it has 208,000 miles. I would be the 3rd owner and all the Maintenance & Repair records are available...thoughts??

Question type: General

Found this awesome G35x!  Looks as if it has been well taken care of over
the years.  It just has high miles, current owner is the second owner and has
put 70K on in just 2 years.  I would really like to purchase the car, just
question the years left with that many miles...thoughts

It might go another 100K miles, you never know, buying a high-mileage car is a crap-shoot. Even with well-made brands like Infinity.

I would stay away from an AWD and that high of milage. AWD's are very expensive to fix and with that kind of milage it seems to not be worth the risk. If you keep it for awhile I would expect one or the other to give you problems if not both. I hope this helps.

My g35x has 250,000 on it and the only issues it’s given me is I had to change the thermostat
