that my year of cuddles or up it's acting crazy as if
it can't accelerate over 50 or 60 miles an hr it's
starts back up from a low jump with the engine light
flashing and then it stops but I have done
everything else except the transmission fluid
change but I don't even know where it's located
dam!!
Please help my baby regain his full potential

I wanted to say the engine light stops flashing and it starts back at a low idle the car doesn't stops completely okay
those 21st Century Jags are notorious- for failing trannys- and other expensive issues- now that you have one what can you do- try to find a mechanic that knows this- and can take care of you- or get rid of it- or just watch it die-
You have a Jag that is 14 years old! You are lucky that this is the only problem you have had. The Jag tranny is not a DIY project, UNLESS you are a trained, well equiped shop owner. Your best option is A. fix it and sell it and hope to break even, or B. sell is as is and take your loss. I will be nothing but trouble from here on.
Use fuel injection cleaner and high octane gas only. You might have to repeat the injector cleaner a couple times but my 2001 3.0 had the same problem and I think it was bad gas from sitting. It's a cheap thing to try anyways.Worked on my car.

Well, many things could be wrong here. If car is boggling out, that can be: Mass air sensor Fuel pump Bad fuel If transmission is not cooperating with accelerating and braking, shows delays, you might have to reset computer. If you replaced battery, chances are that you un-programmed the computer. Now transmission is a sealed transmission. You will not be able to replace transmission fluid if you don't have a flushing system and proper tools. Fluid will cost $20 per quart. Software for these cars are only available at Land Rover and Jaguar Specialists. Hope this helps.
